¿Qué es Galápagos Infinito?
It is an ocean-based experiential education program that seeks to take all 11 to 12-year-old students from the Galapagos Islands to know their islands, enjoy the ocean and strengthen their island culture through a deep connection with their environment. Only in this way will they become the guardians that the archipelago needs! We transform boats in to Oceanic Classrooms, implement digital missions, and provide complementary educational experiences inside and outside the classroom.
Goals & Curriculum
Our curriculum invites students to discover the ocean as a place of wonder, learning and belonging. Through hands-on exploration, observation, reflection and creativity, Galápagos Infinito helps young people deepen their ocean literacy, understand the connections between nature and community, and grow the confidence to make thoughtful choices for the future of their islands. Rooted in the unique environment and culture of Galápagos, every experience is designed to spark curiosity, strengthen connection and inspire care.

Oceanic Classroom Experience
Following 6 years of growth, the Galápagos Infinito program delivers Oceanic Classrooms through three complementary models:
(1) Two-day Sailing Oceanic Classroom combining coastal exploration with a full day at sea;
(2) On-Board Sailing Oceanic Classrooms that bring other groups onto S/V Luckyfish for tailored learning experiences;
(3) Digital Missions that extend ocean learning beyond the boat and across the islands.
Together, they create different pathways to experience, understand and connect with the ocean..
Sailing Vessel Luckyfish - Galapagos Oceanic Classroom
S/V Luckyfish is Galápagos Infinito’s sailing Oceanic Classroom — a dedicated space for learning on and from the sea. Aboard the vessel, students experience the ocean directly through navigation, observation, science and reflection, turning the Galápagos marine environment into a living classroom. Luckyfish expands access to the ocean while creating a unique platform for curiosity, confidence, connection and stewardship.
